Even if you find one at a price you can afford, you have to prepare financially for health care. Yorkies are high risk for allergies. They are prone to several skin conditions. Also, the smaller breeds are, especially, prone to hip dysplasia. So you could be looking at some pretty hefty veterinarian bills. It is not with every single Yorkie, obviously. But their breed makes it a real possibility.
