Drogba challenge Rooney

i watch my teve and the TV shows about challenge drogba for rooney to prove who is the est forward in EPL this season? untill now Rooney and drogba same score in all competition, 23 goals. who will be the top scorer and the best forward in premeire league this season?

It's a tough choice... Both are natural born goalscorers, but Drogba is more constant in his performance, while Rooney has his ups and downs, with periods without goals and periods with loads of goals, like the past few weeks. I'd like to see Rooney coming out first on the goalscorer table, and Man Utd first in the Premiership.

What does age have to do with it? Isn't the challenge for the current season? If it would have mattered for their entire Premiership career, of course that Rooney would have more time ahead of him to evolve into an even better striker than he already is. But for this season, I don't think there will be much of an evolution for any of them. Now that you've mentioned it, I think the young age is one of the factors linked to Rooney's inconsistency I mentioned in the previous response, that I hope he will gradually come out of.

ya, but rooney is still younger and had many ways to prove all his ability than what drgba done now. right? it seems interesting to see their challenge,help his team and get a individual trophy

didn't you watch Drogba when he played for his home country team "Ivory-coast" against Algeria, he was amazed, he couldn't do anything because Algeria soccer team has great players who plays in European clubs especially the defence and the goal keeper.

i did not watch african cup. both of the player is a good player. maybe it`s about consisten who is the best rooney or drogba

I am so sorry I had a bad internet connection when Algeria played against Egypt... It would have been such a sweet revenge... Algeria played good against the Ivory Coast, it's true, but their overall performance wasn't so good, remember the 3-0 loss against Malawi?
