I think the price is $500 or $300 dont remember it right now. But i dont know why would you want to know, ipad isnt worth the price. For that price you could buy a netbook(small laptop of 8-10 inches for the screen, similar to ipad size). There is no point on buying one comparing it with a netbook. Netbook do so much more than the ipad, has more memory(hardrive) while ipad has only 16 or 32 gb, Netbooks can run a real operative system even the latest windows 7, the ipad just use the same interface as the iphone. Ipad doesnt allow multitasking, meaning cant do two things at the same time(for example cant surf the web while listening to music). Finally ipad doesnt have flash, meaning no youtube or other websites that uses adobe flash although there is a chance they bring an application for youtube(that woulnt work out the other sites that uses flash).

oh my god. just the fact of being it doesn't support multitask is enough to throw it away. i thaught it deserves it's price. i think we should wait till they enhance it because the firt version is always comes complaints.

The low end iPad will be for around $400 but I wouldn't really buy one though. There's a rumor going around Lifehacker that it takes Apple $250 to make an iPad.
