what assumptions do you make ?

everyone makes some assumptions about many things . some times it may be correct . but most of the times it will be wrong . what assumptions do you make ? tell some of the assumptions which you have made . was your assumption right . tell some of your assumptions you made which were wrong . i once met a friend . he was having an old car . i thought that the car would have lost its power and will not reach great speed . but when i drove the i was really surprised to see the speed it went and the comforatability i had in driving that . . i went to higher speed than i imaged . have you made assumptions ?

I should know better by now but sadly I still make a wrong asumption which backfires too often 
I assume that everyone is honest. That is not the case and I know it but I just cannot alter my way of thinking and this occasionally causes huge problems. It is not confined to either online or offline as in both environments I have discovered this not to be the case.
