why men are scared of...

Last year, my school organized a blood donation drive for red cross. I signed up for it because i love donating blood. for me it feels great to be able to save lives just by donating my blood for the people who needs it (and i can produce more of it). While signing my name on the list of who wants to donate, i noticed that only two out of a hundred plus who signed up for it were guys! I also helped my school by convincing (is that the right word?) my schoolmates to donate blood for a cause. when i approached a group of guys and told them about blood donating, they immediately said no (in a bad tone) to me and walked out on me! that was very rude. but i smiled after that because i saw it in their faces that they were really and i mean really scared. so why do men are scared of syringe needles? are you scared of the needle penetrating your skin? painful? are you scared of seeing your blood being withdrawn from you? share your thoughts :)

According to surveys Women can tolerate much pain than men.. Maybe that's the reason why they don't like it..or it's the thought of a foreign object being force in your body gives them a scare.
