Is it possible to *SELL* the admin rights to a very popular Facebook group?

I have never heard of this being done, but I understand that there are a number of Facebook groups that exceed one million members, of which up to ten thousand a day are active posters. My idea is that if you owned such a Facebook group, you would be able to sell the rights, say on eBay. Once a contract was made and payment placed in escrow, the group owner would transfer admin status to the buyer, who would have joined the group him / herself as a member and then sent an email to identify themself. Once that person owned the Facebook group, they could then post referral links and in-text advertisements for the exposure of the group visitors. What do you guys think? Has this already been tried?
