I am writig to say that telling you all I got my first pay day and now that discussion is deleted. I read the terms of service and the only thing I can figure out is I used the date. I said nothing vulgar or bad. I have several more discussions in my inbox yet to be answered about said day. This is a terrible thing.I was just basking in delight of payment. I had a couple of other things too that made me happy and it was a nice day, payday. Guess all did't like it. Not sure if someone reported me or what. Anybody out there get the same ? let me know as I am down in the dumps now. thanks, quita 88

I can only think it may have been perceived as under one of the myLot following discussion guidelines "Don'ts" Don't Start discussions promoting a milestone, such as birthdays, anniversaries, reaching a certain myLot rating, etc. This is best celebrated via private messaging with your myLot friends. Reaching payout may be considered the same as "promoting a a milestone" or"reaching a certain myLot rating"

You are probably right. I wouldn't have thought that being happy over being paid would be considered promoting a milestone. A lot of mylotters got paid and said so . Oh well, so be it. I read that page a long time ago but never thought that being happy over getting paid would get a discussion in their favor deleted. Thanks for the thought tho. quita88

I only thought of this because I got a deletion for something similar which I was happy about. I think they are being stricter with their new rules. At one time every day many people were posting their birthdays and that got really a lot of deletions. Anyway don't let is spoil your pleasure. Was it your first? If so I don't care what they say that is special. Congrats.

Hi quita88, as other users have explained your discussion broke one of the MYLOT rules :Don't Start discussions promoting a milestone, such as birthdays, anniversaries, reaching a certain myLot rating, etc. This is best celebrated via private messaging with your myLot friends. I felt bad at first when similar discussions would be deleted but now I learned to take it in my stride. You have to learn from one's own mistakes. Reading the FAQ helps you not to do the same mistake twice.

As this is a very old discussion I have already learned that lesson and read the fax again.

It is because you wrote about being paid, do not worry about it as it happens to all of us Never write about being paid as they do normally get deleted So no more being down the Dumps

Well from what I have understood over the years we are not suppose to talk about payments, how much we make per post, how much we received and things like this. I am not sure why but it is Mylot's policy. Congrats on payment anyhow.

Funny we can't talk about a good thing as a payment. I've seen other discussions about being paid and nothing was done about it that I ever knew about. Ah, ok, thanks for the congrats and have a good Valentines. quita88

Discussing payment is against guidelines. It's something personal, and it doesn't make for a quality discussion. It's not exactly a terrible thing - just something that happened that you can learn from.

I suppose you are right. HOw sad we can't bask in each other's limelight. But, won't happen again unless this one is deleted too-----oh dear me. But thanks for the heads up. quita 88
