Every year near the end of winter and the snow is starting to disappear I start to rush Spring here. I do the same thing every year to freshen up my home, I buy some flowers and clean my house till it is spot less. I would like to do more this year and I would like some ideas on what other people do to invite Spring in to their home. So who has some ideas that will make your home fresh and revived for spring? New ideas? Do you buy new decor? Do you give a room fresh paint?

hi! till now that was the work of my mother, but from several months I don't live by my parents and I think this spring I am going to decorate my rooms with some fresh colors, so that i can feel that the spring is coming and the nature awakes from its winter sleep. I think I will also try some other methods, but don't know yet which!

I was thinking of doing some new color in my rooms too but I don't want to paint the whole room. So, I was thinking of just painting a dresser or a couple tables in some pale colors of spring. New color always brightens up things.

I'm like you, I can't wait for spring. It's so cold here that I look forward to opening the windows and letting some fresh spring air into the house. I don't make a lot of changes, but I do love to buy some tulips and hyacinth plants because they are usually the first plants to show up at the stores in early spring. This year, I'm also thinking about changing some of the artwork I have hanging on the walls. I would like to hang some framed, pressed fern fronds or other pressed flowers to bring a spring/summer feeling into the house.

I like the idea of new artwork. I just learned how to do my own flower presses, I may go buy some flowers to do it with. I also love photography that I have done myself. I have a lot of pictures of water and some waterfalls. I may try to hang both flower press and water up. I hope for bright spring days ahead! Thanks
