He couldn't tell that Mary Jane was Patty when kissing her or making love to her. Now he can't tell that Patty isn't Emily when kissing her and I'm guessing he won't be able to tell after making love either. One can say in the first instance that it had been many years and that is why although I don't agree with that. But in the present case with Emily and Patty it is only a couple of days. Don't you think you could tell?

Exactly what is going to happen when she can't work because she doesn't have the know how to be a psychiatrist. How long can the farce possibly last unless she quits her job right away to work on being a mommy.
And then yeah, to your point, there had to be some reason why Jack didn't fall for Patty when she was Mary Jane, but he did fall for Emily. How long can it take him to figure out that this isn't the same woman?

I also let the time frame be my excuse for the mary jane/patti affair he didn't connect, but if he doesn't figure it out on his wedding night...I could tell..my husband is a twin and there is no way they could switch and I not know it. My husband would know if it was me or a look alike as well.
