My kids and I took a ride through Mammothe Cave National Park, near my home,on a warm day in January and saw these 3 beautiful does. You can almost always see animals there because there is no hunting allowed. I cant wait for warmer days this spring to see more.

I do a lot of hiking in Shenandoah NP which is in my state and yes, you always see animals -- deer, black bear, even saw a bobcat once. I'd post a picture too, but I am still a newbie, so I don't have the option to upload a photo to a response yet. I'm a big sucker for the fawns when the does starting having them around April and May. I assume around spring you can see the fawns in Mammoth Cave NP also?

My parents took us to amamoth cave when we were just kids. I don't think there was even a park there when we went. Of course that was a 100 years ago, lol.
