I do think I am a leader. At office in my profession because people like to work with me for one thing. Second if I take up a job which has problems in it others automatically let me take the lead for they are sure I would look for lead to a solution. In social circles also in areas of my strength I automatically tend to assume the role of a leader. At the same time when I find there are some in the group who can do an excellent job of something, I just move away and allow them to accomplish that task and am quite liberal with mu appreciation. It is perhaps due to the kind of independence I give people that they would like to work with me.A leader who keeps pushing his ideas all the time is simply not allowing others to grow. Every situation must take the shape of a "growing" experience for others. I t is not that as a leader I had not gotten into trouble. There have been oppositions and gheraos too. But i haven't allowed that to cloud my judgment. A little empathy goes a long way in understanding why somebody is against you.

yes, i found your response meaningful. not have everyone can posses leadership qualities. its about working for people along with people. i personally cant work with too many people. i like to work alone..iam not a team person!problem solving is another trait of a leader. its easy to create problem, but sometimes very difficult to mend mistakes. nobody wants to take the burden for others problems. its good that people trust you. we all expect credit for work well done, but we forget to appreciate others . leaders respects others view no matter from where they are coming. every incident should be taken as learning experience. than only we can grow in a true sense. i truly have a leadership qualities. thanks for wonderful response. have a great life.

I would like to think of myself as a leader. At work I am responsible for making sure things run smoothly and often the people I work with will come to me for advice in making sure that happens. At home, I feel that I am an inspiration to my stepsons. I lead by example for them and help guide them in what we feel is the right direction. In my community, I am responsible. I work with several orgainzations that provide for others. I give my heart and soul when volunteering and am often asked to take on more.

i would rather follow than lead. however, if i am led in the wrong direction i will not proceed on. i take a stand for what i stand for and in effect i am leading. i am given alot of responsibility but i wish i had some help sometimes. i don't ask for help, and i would rather have help with some things than do some things myself. you see i am really the follower but have to lead in certain situations.

To a certain degree, I think I am a leader. After all, if I am the only one who is somewhat competent at a task, I would have to take the reigns of leadership, if only by default. I think I can do a fairly good enough job in leading. Far from the best but most certainly far from the worse. I am rather competent in many regards. However, if there is someone who would be better off in leading, then by all means, let them do it. I may learn something by following them. Perhaps learn to be better. If nothing else, a lot of what we learn is by example. There are times where it is much better to follow than to lead.
