What makes you smile today?

There are so many events or thoughts that make me smile. BUt the first thing is the fact that I could pray and make some wishes for the day. I usually do this the moment I wake up. This make me smile because it means I had time to talk to God and still have time to think about the things to happen and pray for its good results or prepare myself for the whole day in general. I am a very busy person, sometimes I just get up and go straight into the bathroom then get dress then eat breakfast ( sometimes n breakfast) then go to work. So this time to pray in the morning is so special to me.

I got married last month, and I ordered a canvas with my favourite wedding photo on it. It arrived today, and I opened it with my husband. It made us smile, and I'm not ashamed to admit, I had a little tear in my eye. My cat makes me smile most days, he is so cute, and does the most adorable things. The other day, I couldn't find him anywhere. I finally looked in the bathroom and I found him sleeping in the bath.

That is soooo true. I try to start my day with a smile. Well my smile for today was as a result of a letter I received from a very good friend who I havent seen in a very long time. It was so good hearing from him. That really made my day.

The reason why I am also smiling today is because of my co-teacher who was always making fun out of something. She is so enthusiastic, I just hope sometimes I have her enthusiasm.

Thanks, God has blessed me again with a new life, a new day. A hug from my children a simple question of "mom had you taken your breakfast?" and things that simple as they may seem but blessings that we should learn to appreciate to enjoy life.

hello laurenban! You are right, there is always a reason for us to smile. Just this morning, I woke up hearing my parents laughing and teasing each other. I couldn't help but smile and be happy with the fact that my parents are still as sweet as they are with each other despite being married for more than 30 years. Growing up with such loving parents has helped me grew up to be optimistic and appreciative all the time.. ^___^
