Is depression a side effect of sleep apnea?

I think depression goes hand in hand with emotional stressed. Sleeplessness is one factor to depression. I suggest that when someone has depression, he/she should be advised to got to a psychiatrist before he/she would suffer from the consequences of it.

I'm not that familiar with sleep apnea, although it could be a possible side effects of depression as it makes someone tire weary during day time thus affect job performance. However there are many causes of depression, it could be problems such as financial matters,relationship, lost of someone,too much worry, anxiety, stress and so many other factors that contribute to emotional imbalance that results to depression.
