I definitely like watching movies more at home....I don't like sitting in a theater for hours and not being able to move...

For me it is a matter of my mood, sometimes I want that intense feeling that I get in theaters. But your are right that at home you can bee completely relaxed.

dvd at home is usually less expensive. Big splurge is a theatre that has $2 movies.

2$ to g to the cinema is not expencive. I Denmark the price is more than 10$, so I can't afford to go to the cinema every time I want to see a movie

I also enjoy watching DVD, it is very comfortable

Depends on how comfy the seats are in the cinema, Our Vue cinema has not long been built and the screens are decent sizes with very comfy seats so I enjoy going to the cinema however DVD's work out cheaper considering you can watch them over and over again once you've bought it

The cinema has... well, I don't know if the picture is better, but the sound is usually better (unless you're lucky enough to have a killer sound system), but I like the privacy and quietness of being at home. Nobody kicking my seat and annoying me with the wrappers and popcorn and stuff. Plus, you can pause the movie if you really have to. Or rewind it if you missed something. I guess the DVD would have to be my choice. --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

I prefer watching movies on the big screen with other people. DVD players are nice though I don't even think anyone uses VHS anymore. I can't wait to get blue ray, the quality is so much better than a DVD player.

I don’t have a television at the moment, so sometimes my sister tapes TV to me on her VHS, so it is still in use !

Hmm. It really depends on the theater I'm in. If it's a theater like the Abingdon Cinemall in Virginia, I definitely prefer the cinema, because it's much more comfortable and the graphics are better than they would be on a dvd.

It depends on the movie. Some movies just look so good I want to see them in the theatre rather than at home. Some movies look good, but I can wait to see them once they have come out on DVD.

DVD.. You can be wearing anything you want and eating as much as you want. and if you want something else the old stop button or the pause button works a charm.LOL
