Olympic Games are one big Flop!

I always enjoy watching the Olympic Games but come on the Canadians are making one big mess. The Nordic combination participants were allowed to start at the wrong time, some too late others too early. Then there was the speed skating mopping affair where the zamboni machines did not work. But wait, did you know that the Russian speed skater skated 300 meters before he was being stopped by the referee? Visitors of the olympic games have complained about the fence around the olympic fire. Oh yes, and the Francophones have complained about the amount of usage of the French language. What a big mess, Canadians, you failed...

I'm pretty sure the Canadians who read your post will be pretty mad with your words. I glanced at your profile, and it says you are from the Netherlands, so I'm assuming your blood is not Canadian blood. I'm not Canadian though. Actually, I have to admit I am barely watching the Olympics. This afternoon around 1pm, curling was on, but I watched that for five minutes and turned it. The other night I watched one speed skating event and then turned the channel. I don't know why I'm not "into" the Olympics this year. But I don't really think it is the Candadians fault. As for your issues, wouldn't the fault lie with the International Olympic Committee?

I've got no Canadian blood indeed. When I say Canadians I mean the organization as a whole of course not so much the Canadians themselves. It's just beyond my common sense why things are solved the way they are solved.

Then there was the guy from Netherlands who was way in the lead (speed skating) and his coach pointed him toward the other lane (not really Canada's fault) and Lindsey Vonn's fall that messed up Julia Mancuso. But I'm enjoying the games...
