Hiya dasiej. Sounds so nice where you went I would not mind going there myself. Often I just sit outside and just watch the World go by if I cannot go any further than that. Other times I have been able to go out for about a Day and sit by a River and just watch it flowing and feeling the warmth of the Sun on my face that´s it really. Enjoy your trip.

Hi, dasiejanie. No. I don't have this privilege just yet. Maybe when my kids get a little older, I may be able to just take off. I am sure that you enjoyed yourself. I wished that I could take off for a couple of hours. I always seem to have my kids with me, so I am unable to take off when I would like to.

That sounds very relaxing! I wish I had the ability to do that. My job and my family won't allow for me to just get in the car and go. I am not sure where I would go if I had the ability to, the lake front sounds very appealing.

I love taking off by myself. I usually go someplace to hike and explore and 'get lost' from the rest of the world. It's amazing what communing with Mother Nature can do for the head and the soul.

My husband and I always think of having our own getaway when we dont have to worry about work and other things that we need to do. We havent done it yet but we would like to go to the beach and just relax. Look at the sunset and eat our favorite food. Hmmm...thinking about it makes me wanna have superpowers and make time freeze.

Hello dasie I am retired now, so all days are 'off' days for me!! More over my wife is now there with my son, who works at a far place, she will be there for a month more.. Quite naturally i feel so lonely, ofcourse i try to reduce this feeling of aloneness by keeping engaged in my research work, some times i try to cook in kitchen..just experimenting lol.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Professor

wow!you did that? so did you left your work? I wish I could take off like that, i couldn't you know, I'm very busy with my job. Once, I went home because I was so tired, but just at home, not at somewhere wonderful like beside a lake or something.
