Do you think Media influence us?

I think Media has a lot of influence in our life, because it manage all the information of everything that is happening in the world, and when someone manage the information that gave us some sort of power, because they can manipulate the information the way they want, and what we receive as viewer is probably not the way things really happen. What do you think? Does Media influence us?

Yes,media can do what they want their viewers had or got to believe in.
They can manipulate the viewers by making us believe from their news.
Some news were true,and some were not.
I am not saying that they are not telling or giving us wrong information,but,they cut some portion of the whole truth.
And sometimes,the cut portion is what really the truth is.

Exactly I don't think they give us the wrong information, because they expose to legal problems if they do that, but I do think that they twisted and manipulated in a way that we believe their point of view, I am not trying to say that there is some kind of conspiracy from the government using the media to manipulate us, none of that.

Yes I do think the media influences us because most of us believe what we are told and we don't have time to look at the other side of the story. There is always two sides to a story.
I have a friend who banished tv from her house just because of that, she also thinks that tv makes you more passive so she doesn't want her kids to be watching tv. Take care.

Exactly, we don't have the chance to look at the other side of the story, and we get influenced by the media, which sometimes can manipulate us, they just want more viewers to their tv shows and would do anything to get them, since exaggerate the news to twisted in the way that looks more scandalous.
