What do you use twitter for.

I know that I use twitter not only to keep in touch with my friends but to make money as I chat with twitter. I also use it to post up all the other things I do on the internet. So what do you do with twitter.

How do you make money with Twiter? I don't see how that venue helps anyone make money, is boring and what is the point on reporting one's day activities? Whose business is that? I guess its good for business to send updates on product and promos. I would like to learn how do you do to make money with it?

Personally, I detest Twitter. I joined it but it all just looks stupid to me. I am a Facebook junkie all the way!
