The LOVE of MONEY is the ROOT of all EVIL not MONEY!

Yes, I agree with you but maybe you should add before the word love "TOO MUCH" because if its just "love for money" it may be in a noble way... like you love money because you want to support your family. For me, I can say I love money, because I need money to support my studies and my family. But once you do bad things just to get money to the extent that you drag or put people down, you step on other people, you use other people, you employ fraud in everything you do, then that's evil.

In psychology, avarice is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves, especially with respect to material wealth. We should note that greed can come in many flavors. It may be money or other THINGS perceived to have material value. For some, it may be a thirst for power. Whatever it is, when one becomes blinded by an all consuming obsession, there is the opportunity for evil to walk through the door.

Yes, this is wrong, it is not the money that is evil. It is the love of money, that makes people do evil things. The Bible teaches that it is the love of the money, not the money. As people being worried about loosing their money, and trying to keep it from being stolen. Money can cause worry and fear.

You said you elaborate it here about it, my friend. But I notice you do not have a clear explanation about the topics you said... So, what is your point why you said it. You know they worded this as not an absolute remarks or quotations. This is a sayings and pointed things about money but not absolutely as it be done. They refer it for people who loves money and does any evil things about. They said it also because people thinking money is a good source of happiness and they want to possess it all the that is why they said it "money is the of evil". Due those conception of people... Money is only a tool to buy and prvide the things needed for ourselves and the ones we want to help.How can something like that be evil? If we love it and it takes control of our lives then that love for it is evil.

Totally agree, we all want to have money to be able to have life without necessities. But when this becomes and obsession, that the person is able to put money over ethic and their values and dignity then is when everything becomes so evil. And of course it is Avarice, which can ruin relationship, careers, life, because the person just doesn't care and would do everything to get money.

Precisely! Money is neutral. It can't do good or bad by itself. Everyone desires to have money, and that desire drives people to work hard for it. However, some people are simply too obsessed with money, or that they love money too much, that they will not hesitate to resort to extreme means to get money.

i would agree with you because some persons are so greedy that they will even kill or tear down their own brother for his money. In life some persons are go persistent to get rich that they have this driving mentality that will allow allow then to do harsh things to other people just to take their money.

I agree to you that money is not the root of evil. It is an object whereby people wanted to acquire for a living. Money can do everything by its powerful value, that is why people push themselves to the limit of obtaining money beyond their capacity. Even using other means good or bad way to obtain money. Even rich people wanted for more money.It is the person himself determine if he/she going to use the money for good o bad intention. Where is the evil now? Is it in form of money,people,motive or Love? For me it depends.
