A spider was in my bathroom today and I hate, hate, HATE spiders! So when it was finally on my sink, I grabbed something to kind of guide it into the sink that was full of water and it freakin' JUMPED! What's worse than a spider that's near you? A freakin' JUMPING spider!! But then the good spider decided to commit suicide and jump into the water. HAHA! Anyone else have any spider stories? How do you feel about spiders?

Im afraid of spiders. It really scares me. I kill them when I see one in our house. I get paranoid when I don't kill them,maybe it will crawl inside me and bite me..hehheheh

Me too I hate spiders of any kind. I don't try to kill it but I try to go away if I see any of these in my bathroom.

Oh yeah! Jumping spiders are the worst. But what's worse than jumping spiders? 50 cent peice sized furry spiders that run towards you instead of away from you. I had a couple of those in my house once.

NO I'm not afraid of spiders,over here we have huge mongrels called huntsman, if the name isn't enough of a description. Basically they are bloody huge and ugly and fast and yes they can jump and you can see their fangs, but they don't worry me, they do scare the willies out of my family though. I refuse to kill them, I just catch them in a big tuppaware container and then take em outside, catch and release for me. I was going to post a picture of one for you but alas cant be done anymore, hmmmmm.

I've actually heard of the huntsman spider, believe it or not. And redbacks, etc. How's this pic of a huntsman? *shudder*

Well I've had some pretty funny experiences with spiders chasing me around the house. Which is down right funny. I've also had times when I was running after a spider and it would run scared, but I would SPLAT it. (LOL). I'm really scared of spiders, but I don't really like them. Also they are really good for eating unwanted bugs and other insects so they do server a great purpose in life.

You know, people always say that. About the spiders eating the bugs, I mean. But the thing is, they most likely won't catch anything in the house. They're best bet is to stay outside and catch their bugs there. Stupid spiders. And I'm just imagining you running around the house being chased and chasing a spider. ROTFL

Yeah. I'm not necessarily scared of bugs (although, in reality, I probably am), but I really do HATE them!

On the contrary i really like them. i keep some big scary spiders as pets and i really love to keep watching them and feeding them. if you look at them from near you will find that they are really good and interestin creatures.

Yeah, I can usually deal with the teeny ones. The ones small enough that you don't have to worry about feeling them squish between your fingers as you squash them with a tissue or something. *shudder*

Hate them, urrrghhh! Spider story. Next door to me they cut down all the trees, after a couple of days, my house became a refuge for all the homeless Huntsman. One actually crawled over my sons dinner plate (I am laughing and cringing as I'm thinking about it now), I phoned a friend, think she thought I was being attacked, to come over to get rid of them. I had pint glasses dotted all over the house!

OMG!! That's so freaky!! I would totally freak out if a spider crawled across my dinner plate. Especially a huntsman. *shudder* If I had a ton of spiders invading my house, I'd have to get the entire place fumigated or something before I could ever sleep there again.

You do realise that having daddy long legs in the house not only means less bugs in the house, but they also actually kill and eat the more venomous spiders....

omg when i was lil i was in my grandmas house in mexico laying in bed i looked @ the floor and there was this giant and i mean giant spider scared the me had big green eyes.... my guy loves them but im scared of them

OMG! That would totally freak me out! I was up at my friend's house for about a week and at least two hobo spiders came crawling out while I was there. They're freakin' huge and they weren't even fully grown!

I had to laugh when reading this because it reminds me about my spider phobia.
I hate spiders! I mean I hate them with all the hate I have!
My spider story:
I just woke up one morning around 2:00 AM and went to use the bathroom and as I was using the bathroom I was sleepy and tired. I also didn't have my glasses on at the time. So as I was doing my thing I looked at the wall infront of me and saw this black dot and was wondering what it was, so I bent over and looked closer and as I got closer I noticed it was a spider! So I screamed and started jumping all over the place and woke my family up and everyone came running in to see what was wrong and all that. During all this, I also pissed myself. Oh well, things happen! LOL!
But I know if I see a spider, I get into shock mode. I can't even kill them because I'm afraid to even get near one. If I see one and I'm alone, I will watch that spider until someone comes home to kill it. If I have to, I get my neighbor to come over and kill it.
I hate them.
And I really hate the ones that jump!

LOL! That's a pretty funny story. Thanks for sharing! I just can't stand spiders and I won't kill them (unless they're teeny tiny) because I just don't want them feel them squishing between my fingers. *shudder* That grosses me out. I will tend to vacuum up the bigger ones, though. I suppose it probably doesn't kill them, but even if it traps them in there for a while, it's all good. As long as they're out of my sight and out of my room!

oh you to i have an aracnophobia (probably not spelled right ) if one gets on me i go into a panic attack thats how bad they bother me. I almost wrecked my car one day because one was one my legg oh it was sooooo terrible.

I love spiders. I have one tattooed on my neck, a writing spider to be exact. I don't think they are as bad as people make them out to be. But, I certainly don't like them jumping on me out of nowhere. but, that goes for anything!
