Hey, friends! Well, to be honest, I am not into fish. It's not that I hate it, I just don't like it. The only fish I eat is fumed cod. I also like fish soup and fish sticks, but that's all. I know that fish is very good for our health, it contains many important elements, but I just don't like it. I still think there are lots of people here on myLot who actually love fish, so you can share your favorites with me, perhaps I'll even try some of these.

I love fish, I will eat 99% of fish and I prefer to catch my own, I love mackeral, whiting salmon etc etc almost all fish I love cod too but cod is being over fished at the moment so I eat whiting or coalfish now as tastes just as good as cod, bbq'd whole with salt and pepper and slices of lemon in its cavity on a bbq complete with its head and tail gorgeous mmmmmm

I bet fish tastes much better if it's the one you have caught for yourself. It must be the same thing like with vegetables - the ones you grow in your own garden taste much better. That bbq description you provided seems to be very delicious, although I've never tried anything like that. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, take care!:)

I'm glad to hear that you're going to have (or you've probably already had) another nice fish meal. Fresh fish must be really good. Lately I've seen that "Survivorman" series running on Discovery channel. There was a man that had been left on the Alaska for one week, without or anything. He managed to catch himself a salmon and he ate it without even cooking it. He claimed that it tasted good.

yeah fish caught fresh tastes amazing far nicer than your massive caught trawler fish thats been frozen for weeks before it arrives on your plate. In fact I have just started the bbq and am waiting for it to heat up as got some cod and whiting that I caught yesterday which is going to feed me and my family today and will save some of the cod as got enough to make a few meals so yeah defo a lot nicer go out and catch your own if you can you will be amazed by the taste of fresh hours old fish.

You're right, alilin28, it's important to respect others opinion. I also don't eat fish, but to get the important elements that can be found in fish, I take these pills you've mentioned. Talking about chicken, I also like it, if it's prepared in a decent way. Thanks for responding!:)

I enjoy a good feed of salmon. I am not too fussy as to what type, I just really enjoy it. Particularly when my brother smokes it. Smoked salmon is delicious. My favorite all time seafood however, has to be crab. I love it! Better than lobster in my opinion too. Mmm. Scallops are definitely yummy, especially in my sisters seafood fettuccine. Delicious! I make New England clam chowder about once or twice a year as well. That is the only way I can eat clams. Lastly, I am always up for a good feed of old fashioned fish and chips!

It seems to me that you really like seafood! I think I haven't tried a whole crab yet, but I've been eating those crab sticks. I know they're not a real crab, but still, they taste good. I like to add them in salad or eat just as they are. Talking about salmon...my mother is a big salmon lover! She can prepare that fish in any possible way! Thanks for answering again!:)

It seems that you're another person who loves fish in any form! To be honest, I also know most of the fish names in my local language. Thanks for feedback!:)

I'm kind of the same as you- I don't really like fish or seafood, but I do love cod (and the other white meat fish in fish sticks/fish and chips). I am a vegeterian, so I don't eat fish regularly, but there is a rare ocassion once in a while where I have to have GOOD fish and chips at a sea-side restaraunt.

I think that fish chips and sticks are a good solution for people who don't like to eat whole fish or the fish dishes. I also like to have these chips when going out with my friends. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!:)

if its a big fish i like the head part haha i know this is weird for many peple but i think its delicious that its actual meat. we have certain recipies local recipes that makes fish heads taste soo good and maybe this is why i like eating the head part

Well I don't find it weird, because I've heard that the fish head contains lots of beneficial elements in it. Even grizzly bears eat only the head of the fish, in case there is lots of fish. The head of the fish is claimed to be most nutritive part of the fish. Thanks for sharing your opinion!:)

I love fish any way it's fixed. I can eat fish every day. In fact, I would rather have fish than any other meat. It is not only good for our health, but it is tasty. If you don't like fish, it has to be because you had the wrong cooks, making you delicious dishes. I bet I could make a fish lover out of you.

Well, I think my first experience with eating fish was in kindergarten, I can't exactly remember which dish I was eating but I didn't like that taste. After that I didn't want to try any fish dishes anymore. You must be a really good cook, if you claim that you can make me love fish!
