absent or sleeping in class?

hi! im not a student anymore but i do have a sister who is still a student and yesterday, i woke her up because she had a class to catch on. but my sister, who slept like almost past 3am, was still sleepy and seemed she couldnt make it to school. so,i was wonderin', to the students and of course to the non-students alike, which would you prefer, just be absent or just sleep yourself in class?

I'd rather be absent than get caught by the teacher sleeping. But sometimes, it depends on the subject. If the professors check the attendance and it matters to your final grade, then just try to go to class and go home right away.

yeah, i agree to that. that'll depend on everything, like how strict the professor is.

Well if she's in college just let her sleep but in high school or lower it is better to go to class and just sleep there.

highschool or college here in our country, it's inappropriate. the professor or teacher gets mad at you and you'll get reprimanded. they'll feel it as an insult to them.

i would prefer to be absent to the class if i cant make it up and go to the school . i have been in this situation many times and i find it difficult to get up in the morning but there will be no other go since my father will wake me up . 
. but i feel very sleepy i will tell reasons like there is no class and continue my sleep . 
. but most of the times i will go the class and will sleep there . i will already be in a sleepy mood and the lecture will also be sleepy or dry so i will sleep .

i guess that's the best thing to do if you dont want to get caught sleeping and get reprimanded! :)
