iPod Suicide!

Recently, my iPod Nano committed iPod suicide. It only lasted me two years, and then it just died on me. It was ready to die for a long time, but I did not expect it to crash so soon. When it died, all I saw was a dark screen and the Apple symbol. So, I replaced it with a Gen 1 iPod which I heard was the better made iPod of the group. It may be bigger than the Nano, but size does not matter for me. It has 160GB, it is black (I love black and green), and it hasn't crashed once on me. I love my Gen 1 iPod. Question: To all of those with an iPod? Which one is the best? Classic (or Gen 1)? The Nano? or The iPod Touch? If there is one that I did not mention, bring it up and tell me what you think of the iPod?

The Gen 1 seems to be the one with the least problems so far. I really liked my Gen 3 Nano before it ran away and disappeared on me. Now I have a touch but the only problem with my touch and I think most touchss (?) is that they don't have that much memory. Mines been full for a while now and I almost need to get another one. But yea, the ipod touch is by far the most fun one!

I love my Gen 1, but my Gen 3 must have hated me in order to have killed itself like that. I didn't even have 7GBs of memory on it, and that thing stores 8GBs.

I might get the iTouch next time, but for right now, I am very satisfied with my Gen 1, and I would not trade it for the world.

I've got a 3rd Gen Nano since launch and it's been great. It still works fine, so that's 2 and a half years which isn't bad. My sister has a 4th gen which has worked fine since December 2008. So I'd say the Nano is the best bet, in fact, I've reviewed the 5th Gen on my blog: http://is.gd/9n1lf

I don't know, as I am still investigating iPods, trying to decide which one I want to get, but 160 GB's? WOW! I just had to jump in here and say WOW!!! I can't believe how much memory we're getting in our little pieces of technology these days. My husband just told me that there is more in my laptop than they had in the spaceship that went to the moon.

Yeah, 160GBs, and yes, there is more memory in our computer than their ever was on the first spaceship to the moon. That is how advanced technology is.

Well, it does feel bad when you love a thing and have invested in it, and it does not last the expected time. I have never bought an Ipod and I do not feel the need to buy one also. Regards

Actually, my iPod Nano was a Christmas gift, if anything, I feel sorry for my cousin who bought it for me. He wondered how long it would last, but he wasn't so sure about it.
