What's the way to know ip address of the computer??????

Hi I am using windows xp operating system and I want to know the ip address of the computer.Also is there is any way or any command in dos(disc operating system) that gives me the ip address of the computer????Pls reply.

open cmd or command prompt and write ipconfig... u will get ur ip and all other network details ... happy mylotting :))

hi friend you can easily know your ip addres throug command line go to RUN type in "cmd" then type in "ipconfig/all" there you can easily find your ip address cheers.
