which form of malware is dependent on operating systems and replicating and which is independent of the operating system and replicating?
for example virus and worm replicate itself but are not dependent on the OS.. but trojan horse is dependent on the OS? or im wrong?... what about logic bomb?

That's an interesting question. Are you trying to create malware here? Regardless of what it is, it all is harmful to your system so should be removed right away, but be careful of what anti-malware software you use. Some have been known to mistake gunine windows files for trogains and worms.
