What Movie Should Not Be Remade?

Hi guys the two movies I am going to talk about are the following:
Footloose: this movie is still great to watch today. Yes it was made in the 80's but that was a great cast. Everyone was believable. Kevin Bacon and John LIthglow(sorry if I misspelled his name.) I don't see anyone coming and playing those parts. I will most likely wait til this comes on tv or netflix. I know I am going to compare the new cast to the old.
Second : A Nightmare on Elm Street: There is only one Freddy Kruger. NO one could ever fill the shoes of Robert England. I don't know who is going to play Freddy but sorry. It will be just like Psycho there is only one Norman Bates. I never did see that remake and never will.
The Halloween remake was another nightmare. No where near the great original which I could never get tired of.
Alright movie buffs put on your thinking caps on. Let me know any remakes you liked or didn't like? Any upcoming remakes you are not looking forward to seeing?

I would definetly literally cry if they ever remade my favourite movie of all time "Stand By Me" First off I dont think anyone could ever fill the shoes of the character of Chris Chambers the way the late great River Phoenix did. In fact in would be hard to find anyone who would be half as talented as the original four in that movie.
I honestly hate when they remake anay movie for that matter though. I think they should just come up with something new instead of trying to remake something thats already good.

I agree and with you. I can see it being remade though but it won't be as good as the original. Great one.

Yes the sad thing is that I can see them actually remaking it too but it would never live up to the original Im quite positive to that.

Grease. One of the gratest movies ever, altohough it was a version of a musical, I still think that all the actors are too irreplaceble.

I think after the bomb of Grease 2 they learned their lesson. That's why we got stuck with all those High School Musicals. LOL. I agree with you the same with Footloose you will be thinking about the originals.
