Anyone learned any really helpful shortcuts to making money on Helium?

I've been writing on Helium for over 3 years. While I make fairly consistent income from the site, I find it frustrating that with over a thousand articles that it is difficult to keep monthly earnings much above a hundred dollars. This includes the writing bonuses received from empty titles and being in the first 5 articles published on a title. A really good month makes me about $100 on my per view earnings. Anyone find a way to boost this level?
