Do you wash your own laundry by machine or give it to the laundry shop?

We do have many housechores to do.Some of those require to e done daily like cooking while others can be done weekly like washing cars or bikes, lawn mowing, house cleaning and even doing the laundry. I want to focus on the laundry thing. In the place to where I am now, laundry shops are everywhere offering reasonable prices too. It is very enticing to bring the laundry and then have it all cleaned and ironed too. But even with that deal, i just feel hesitant to bring my own laundry at any shops.I always try to do it by myself in times when I have my day off. In this way, I could have the pleasure of diverting my mind out from work and focus it on housechores done. This way I find a balance too from work and home. Of course it's very nice to just pay and have it done but I just feel it's uncomfortable having someone do my own laundry.I am quite afraid of having my clothes tarnished or have discoloration if I resort to laundry shops. How about your stand about this? Do you go to laundry shops or have it done by yourself? And may I know why you do such?

The laundry chore is something that I don't like doing at all. I have not figured out how to programme the washing machine on, so my better half does it all by herself. Sometimes she just prepares everything and all i have to do is to press on the switch on button. I don't like the idea that my clothes will be taken care of by strangers.

I don't like laundry shops, cause they just make my my clothes smell like fabric conditioner, which is really a strong smell. I also like doing my laundry, cause as I always say, it's exercise for me. Hahahhaha. Plus, it's not like I have a lot of clothes to wash, so I'm totally okay with washing my own clothes.

I have always washed my own laundry. Even though it may be nice to have someone else do it, it is more economical to do it yourself. I could never really afford that luxury.

We wash on our own laundry. The only time we would take laundry anywhere is if it needed to be dry cleaned. Then we would be careful to not soil it so it can be worn a few times. Though generally things that are dry clean only are those things that aren't often worn.

I do my own washing. I do not trust any of these that work in such laundry shops. They would either let the colours get mixed or burn it when they iron. It takes me about 2 hours every saturday morning. It is worth my trouble. TATA.

hi! I wash my laundry by machine, because there is no laundry shop near my house and I also have a wash machine, so i don't have to pay for a laundry shop :)
