Of course I know we can get the number of the responses to the discussion from our home page. But it isn't convenient, especially when we have started many discussions at the same time.Sometime we have to miss some comments to our earlier discussions because they are not on the home page still. It's so disappointed to find a new response on there for a week without being checked. So guys, how do you know when you get a new response?

I get notification in my email that I have a response to a discussion. I don't know if this is something you have to adjust in your profile to get or what. I know that I have always received them since signing up for MyLot.

on your preferences you can customize your setting so that you will get notifications when you get response. but if you want to do the hard way you can always go to discussions, choose either responded to discussions you have started. always check on the name of the member who made the last response, if it is not you meaning you got a new response. :)

I have mine set up to provide an email notification of new responses. When the responses are posted, I receive an email with a link to the entire discussion, the new response, as well as having the entire new response posted in my email.

Looks like in your preferences under notification you unmarked where it stays that notify when you receive a reply to your discussion or a comment on your reply. If you tick it you will start getting the mail from mylot. Hope this helps or alternatively you can check FAQ
