I heard of it from my friends in another networking site---it seems face book is planning to charge their members. Well they would be making some thousands of dollars---for all our activities---when we send messages or play games in there or make some comments----then why the hell they would ruin their income by charging its members. They aren't that stupid. Facebook has recently crossed their 350 million members and cruising towards the 400 million mark and has replaced Yahoo to occupy the second slot in Alexa ranking it has every other chance to compete with World number one Google though. Coming to me i never spent hours together and neither i have any plans to waste my time in there in the future.so it wouldnt make much of a difference for me if it charges its members or not. Would you be still there if it starts charging its members or just leave it behind and move on to other sites coz i have seen many who are really crazy about it.

Well hell no. I could definitely say goodbye to facebook anytime if in case they'll gonna charge us. Besides, I don't a lot of time now in facebook. Possibly I got bored with games now. :) Sometimes, I would just drop by and check out if I got messages then leave. I wouldn't care about it anymore if I have to pay anything.

Hi Sunny, i am a member of facebook and what i am enjoying the most is reaching out to my long lost friends and relatives who are now leaving in other parts of the world. thanks to facebook that i have the access to see them, their families, photos, views, etc. and of course their current situation. but not to the point of being so hook on it like what i feel with mylot. once this development will be implemented, i don't care. i will not continue subscribing on to them. there are other sites that i can still enjoy my communication with my relatives and friends.

in a way the personal information can really be used for spamming and we are aware of it. anywhere there are lots of spammers around. but of course, we are enjoying it to reach out to friends and relatives despite the risk of being spammed or hacked. i have friends whose FB accounts were hacked and even theri emails. bad for them. but still they continue reaching out to us by making another email addres account and FB account too.

hi winky,i heard from many members saying that they share their complete personal information in there and their information was used for spamming purpose---they stand a higher risk of inturders coz you never knew when things go wrong.it does help us to find our friends though i found some of my school friends in there thats another reason behind visiting it.great day.

One thing is the colors and layout! It looks so jumbled up. Orkut used to look neater. Now Orkut is equally bad. Those were my first impressions and you know how first impressions can be. :)

Well I guess my answer is just like the rest who have answered three weeks before me a big NO. It's good to use facebook in contacting friends and playing some games but if they charge something for it then I think mylot would soon then become more famous than it.

Else you would be busy with your friends there right .Every one is addicted to facebook only thing which drives them from it is their charges hope these kinda weaknesses do exist for smoking and drinking---coz they have spoiled people like you to a looong extent

If Facebook decide to charge then I'm gone. Simple as that. I can't afford to pay out for using a social networking site, we managed perfectly well without them so personally I can do just as well without them now.

its always good to use a online site to a certain limit so that others cannot take advantage of our weakness---i come accross many who spend hours playing games in there which shows how important facebook is in their daily life.Thank you for responding.great day.

I am now getting bored with facebook. I think I need a site where I can get something out from it. It would be a waste of money and effort, if it cannot give me something in return.

There are heck of social networking sites which pop out every day while some stay behind like mylot and others make their way out by scamming others. Its really good to have some friends with whom we can have a good chat with---sites charging us wouldn't be a good place for sure.great day.

That good way to keep track of our friends good that they came up with a privacy option else those pics can be in the hands of others hands who might use them for bad promotions.

I'm a self confessed Facebook addict. But my answer to your question is a big NO! Hehe! :) I can give it up anyway and shift to other social networking sites that do not charge a single penny. But I do hope Facebook will not do it. For now that it's still free, it will continue to be my favorite social networking site.

I have an account on facebook. I don't really know how but somehow I got attached to it. I play games there like farmville and mafia wars. I spend some time there If I don't have anything else to do. But if facebook is really going to charge its members, I'ts bye bye facebook and hello again to multiply, myspace and friendster. Sometimes these sites helps people get together, share photos and stuff. That's why I use these sites.

I will not going to use facebook if fb really charges money. Although facebook is easier to connect with all of my friends, but without facebook, I still can easily connect with my friends through outing, testing, msn. I think it's nonsense if they're gonna charge money, I bet there will be a dramastic drop in facebook user.

you're right its more of a rumour that they're gonna charge their members---i never heard of the sites you have mentioned man except msn---i shall have a look at them may be i stumble upon some thing good.Thank you for responding.great day.

It's so impossibly slow that I hardly ever use it anymore because it's too frustrating. It takes absolutely forever to get a page to load and even then it's not always loading properly. The idea that they would charge at this stage is preposterous. If it did work better - faster or more accurately, I still wouldn't pay. There's no point. There are so many networking sites out there for free that I think most people would just jump ship if they started asking for money.

I hardly visit that site---once in a blue moon that too to complete some tasks in cloud crowd---and recently decided to bid farewell to it so i dont have to visit anymore.there might be some crazy guyz who might think of starting a new Site rather than paying fees in there and coming to population it would be reduced to 25% if they start charging them.Thank you for responding.great day.

No i wont stay there is face book charging fees. There are many social networking sites which gives service free of cost. Why shall i stay on facebook and loose money if there are better and cheaper option out there. More to it some sites like youvie and indy rock offer money earning opportunity as well.I would go there rather than staying at facebook if it start charging.

Facebook are not planning on charging their members, this is just something that has come up on a few Facebook groups and I for one am completely sick of these groups. Facebook has become the massive site it is without charging their members so why would they start now.

I'd drop Facebook in a heartbeat if they decided to charge a member fee. I don't play any of the games and I read people's comments about once a day. Losing FB wouldn't bother me at all.
