I work in a BPO industry. At times, I am getting sick of it but it is one job that has a decent pay and you just have to assist your callers or better yet your customers. But there are times that I get bores because the job description is very repetitive. Aside from exchanging stories with colleagues, what others can you suggest?

Presently,BPO (Business processing outsource) is one of the fastest growing industry and it includes customer related services. In other words, it is also related to call centers. Call centers in the Philippines is considered as one of the most decent paying jobs. It can be very repetitive at some point and may become very stressful that may lead to decreased productivity. It may also come to a point where you get bored and you almost drag yourself to work because you will be thinking that it's the same thing, same issues you handle every day.

I think for mine, there are no boring time, actually we are pretty much swamped with work and this is just sometimes too much for us to be even bored! we get stressed. ha ha but for you, i think what you can do is to make sure you have your files all sorted out, ask for more admin tasks, perhaps from your team leader and so she'd know you have initiative to do more...

Yeah stress is part of it but at times if the work is very repetitive it becomes very boring and I don't feel like I am productive anymore. Yes actually i love paper works and perhaps that will fall under admin work. I just hope in due time I will have the job that I would really enjoy.
