Is sea water okay for dogs coat?

Hello everyone. Just updating about my min pin puppy. Just a few minutes ago
like about 30 minutes ago, I took my puppy to the beach for the first time.
Then i decided to give him a short bath, just a dip. I'm just wondering
if it's okay to do that or not? Since its salty and not the normal water.
Any suggestions?

Let him play in the ocean, he will have many wonderful times at the beach during his life, but always rinse him off once yopu are through with your day at the beach. Salt in the water will dry his skin and make him very uncomfortable if you don't.

It is okay I think.I watched many movies that dogs swam in the sea.and they enjoy it at the beach.

HI there, oh that sounds like fun. I have seen many people enjoy their dogs at the beach. NO I don't think it affects them at all, but of course just like for us humans, you have to also rinse the salt off its body and be sure to be through since there are many parts the salt and sand may collect at.
