Should students be allowed to grade their teachers?

I think that teachers should be rated on there performance. Our school does that.. It's like a teachers evaluation and they will know what there weaknesses and need are. The only difference is they get paid. :)

i believe so, yes. communication is a two-way learning system. students are graded by the amount of information they learned and its application... so why not evaluate teachers also... by the skill in which they teach the students to learn... teachers should be able to communicate the learnings to students effectively. same like the training seminars we do, participants are allowed to provide feedback on the trainers and instructors. this way learning environment can be improved.
