what do you think about the test in college.

As a student ,what i focus on is study.
i have been busying learning all kinds of subjects in the college and using my part time to fullfil my knowledge by staying at the school library.
but as the final exam come ,i feel nothing but boring.
i hate those tests which are used to test whether i have been worked good on these subjects.
here,we have to pass the college english test 4 in order to get the diploma.
but as i can see ,there are those who are good at speaking fulent english.
we learn english as our second language .
we learn so as to use it ,to speak it out.
i do not think those tests on paper do me any good.
do you reall think those tests useful?
what is your opinion upon the tests in college?

Sometimes we get bored or exhausted with exams in college for the reason that there are too many examinations waiting for us.Of course exam is not the most efficient or scientific method to test one's ability.And there are some skills when taking a certain exam.So excellent students may not get very good marks for that they lack these skills.However,exam is the fairest way to test a student's study for the time being.Since we are not able to chance this situation,we have to accept it now.

I truly agree with your point. We are tired of schoolwork and kinds of tests in college life. However, we have to accept the existing educational mode. And ,actually, we do need such a fundamental measure to test our study. As we all know, exam is absolutely not the most scientific or efficient way to measure one's ability, but it is straightforward and impartial.

my opnion to feedback the tests are made in the college. it depends on each individual person personally. because, as my experiences when we face the exams are many my classmate is mutual in making cooperation to fill the answer about the exam. not except me....hehehe!!!

Hello coldcolor. It is a trend for us Chinese college students to pass CET Band 4 and CET Band 6 before they can get their college diplomas. It is really harsh for many of the students, especially for those whose English level is comparatively weak. English is so focused and emphasized that it seems that it is more important than all the other courses. Recently it has been talked and argued a lot on multi-medias about this CET system. Personally I think that it should not be considered to be super-important as some of the majors do not use English that much in their future line of business after graduation. I wish the Education Bureau of our country will take it into serious consideration. Enjoy your college study, friend.

I think tests are useful. Some subjects are harder for some students and some are easier for them. We need to put in hard work no matter what so might as well just get off mylot and go study!! 
My final exam is in two weeks and I'm feeling bored too but I don't think slacking off is a good idea. I'm going try getting off my computer. Good luck on your exams.

I think that the SAT and the ACT tests are very hard. I had to take the SAT test in order to get into USC Columbia. And, I did not pass it at all. I failed it. I was so disappointed.
This test was very hard, and I think that they should not base a person's test scores to verify, if they are eligible to be a student at this college. Any other tests that they have in the classrooms can be difficult too.

I took every test seriously. I always think the test is always the final exam. You know why? Simply you took the exam as what you have learned. If ever what happen in my college days.. it help me alot in my life now. That all :)
