Nano may not stay as cheap: Tata Motars!!

The nano, the world's cheapest car at Rs 1lakh,may no longer be as cheap,when tata motars opens fresh booking later this year.the company on Tuesday said it had promised to held the price line for the first lot of nano buyers,it did not divulge the exact amount of the price hike.the nano is currently manfactured on a makeshift basis at Tata's Pantnagar plant in Uttrakhand,which gets tax sops as the region is a zero excise zone.with production at its motherplant Sanand,Gujrat,set to commence from April,tax outgo will go up. so it is logical but we have not arrived at a final decision yet.
