TO buy or NOT to buy iphone?

Iphone's are all the new rave all about. So, I'm thinking of buying one since my cellphone just died, but I'm not sure if it's worth all those money. I've heard about all of it's fantastic features and applications but I've also heard numerous complaints about it. So, what should I do? Any advice?
