Why Ghosts do not fall through the floor?

If ghosts can walk through walls and glide down stairs, why don't they fall through the floor?

Haha. I think ghost do have the control where they will go through.. And I can't imagine a ghost wanting himself to fall through the floor. Unless they're scaring some people..
