Medicines: Cure or Poison?

In independent researches by scientists and doctors they have published that this medications out in the market are harmful to us. Though it controls or stop the progression of the disease it harms the other systems in the body. That's why most medication has labels like side effects or adverse effects. According to these authorities the best cure is found in nature. Pharmaceuticals would not endorse these products because they cannot apply patent to it and that would mean a loss in revenue for them. Do you think medications are poison? Do you believe that the best medicine are free?

hi cangy in my experience the medicines are good in the time you need and to take it in limit time. but if you take it alwways it will be not effect. some people take asperin or something else all time, they will be not usefull to respect the good effect they will increase the dosage to take the effect. and the medicine will be responded by person and other not respond. some bodies are good to use a medicine and some will be take the side effect. so we will be care to gain it.

Well I kind of agree with you. The nature is really the best cure, however, sometimes we can't heal all the health issues with the means of nature. So we have to choose between to bad things: an advancing disease or a medication, that will stop it, but is likely to have harmful effect on something else in your body. I personally try to use natural means as long as they are able to help me and only if they fail to, I start using chemically synthesized medicines.

I think medicine is a great way to get a little better, then, your mind must start to doing all the process of a healthy body. There are studies that says that people that are positive about their unhealthy situations, they get better very fast! So, a good aproach I think it should be "I will start with this medication and do the rest by keep up!"

hi! well some medicines are really harmful for us, and we can see it in the manual of the medicines where we can see what the secondary effects are, and some of them can really be very armful for people with some other problems or pregnant women. medicines can be also harmful if we take them frequent without consulting with a doctor!

Medicine is being prescribed by most doctor's according to their diagnosis but not sure it will work or not. Medicine is a cure not for all sicknesses and has some certain side effects if prolong usage. That's why doctor's will say used it for only 7days as probation and see if effective. Herbal medicine could some way effective also in some cases, helps improve body resistance and leading to cure of ailment. Both can prevent growth and help to stimulate cure of any illnesses at given stage. Synthetic medicines and herbal are both usable and being proven as curative if applied collectively.Medications are guideline only but not poison.

I think medicines need to be approved by the fda, in comparison to miracle cures. We are such an over-medicated society, thatw e think a little pill can solve all our health woes. This bothers me, especially when people should have taken better care fo themselves to not end up with the medical condition or disease calling for medicatin. Yet I also realize that sometimes genetics play a role, too, and that cannot be helped with the whole nature versus nurture argument. However, people need to really read the labels on the over the counter medicines, too, instead of just grabbing them off the store shelves, for that can be dangerous if they mix with other medicines they have to take for blood pressure or an under active thyroid. Taking medicine has its pros and cons, and the degree of disease outweighs the side effects usually. The labels and warnings are like saying humans are indeed fair game, for we the big pharmacuetical companies do not take responsibility. That part is left up to the person taking the meds, especially if they knowingly ingest them.

Allopathic medicines always have side effects which cannot be ignored. Many of them affect kidneys but strangely doctors prescribe them as if everything is hunky dory. Now that we have access to the Internet I always check for side effects and bring it to the notice of my family doctor and we discuss the issue threadbare.
