Having to wear ID's in school...

Okay, so in my school recently this year they made this stupid rule that we have to wear lanyards with IDs around while we're in school. We have a lanyard with a different color for each grade, and attached we have an ID with our picture, our name, and other info on there. I personally do not LIKE people seeing my ugly school picture and knowing my name and the grade I'm in. I hate even more that it's mandatory. And if we DON'T wear them we automatically get a lunch detention, get our priviledges taken away, and can lose use of a parking space and the library. If you don't wear it for 3 times they suspend you! I DO NOT get this. So...for NOT having it, they take away all these things and will kick you OUT of school?? That's stupid. Plus, if you are in your class you would NOTICE any students tat aren't supposed to be there! Plus if we're walking in the hallway you can't even notice most ppl. I see about half the kids dont wear them anymore. PLUS, 3rd thing is that if theres ever an attack on the school or a shooting, its USUALLY a student. But Hey, theyll be able to identify our bodies...wtf. the school system is just wasting their money on these ids. Do you think this is right? Or does it make sense?

I agree. I've never been apart of a school that needed to wear IDs, but I have known some and I always thought it was a joke.
