The seventh Harry Potter movie

Okay, does anybody else think that splitting the seventh Harry Potter movie into 2 sections is sort of crazy. I mean, they shortened the others to where if you havent read the books you might not understand what the last movie is completely about. Yes, the other movies give a good idea, but if they are doing it with the last movie, why couldnt they have done it with the rest of the movies too so that everyone could understand everything. They left so much stuff out of the movies its not even funny. I really like the movies, but they shouldnt have left so much stuff out. Yeah, i understand they want you to read the books, but if you have read the books, like me, I know that I get upset because they leave so much stuff out of them. I have read the books so many times, its not even funny. My children love the books, and they also love the movies, but they are young and dont understand that stuff is missing out of the movies. I just wish they would have split the rest of the movies up into two sections so that everyone can fully understand everything.

Well, there a lot of details that they really need to show in the movie. If it will be better for the movie to be split into two then that is fine. So long as it will satisfy the movie goers specially for Harry Potter fans like me. The last book is really great. I just hope that the movie will be as great as the book if possible. I have been disappointed wit the previous movies. Harry Potter fans like me deserves the best.

I was also disappointed with the movies. They were so lame compared with the books. I'm not even looking forward to the last movie. I don't think I'll be watching it. I'd rather read the books many times instead of watching the movies.

I know... I'd like to see how they would do the conceptualization of the last movie....I agree that they omit so many things compared to the books. I realized that this is normal when a movie is done based on the book. If the viewers have not read the book, they wold not notice the difference.

I so agree with that.....Sometimes when movies are made based on books they do not have the time or what have you to show everything

well i think splitting the seventh Harry Potter movie into to parts maybe a little bit crazy in the sense that it was biased on the part of other editions yet i think it is just enough that they would split it into two primarily because we have now finally reached the end part of the novel and as we all now the ending is the most detailed and exciting part and having considered this kind of novel, its end part are full of actions, spells, incantations as well as revelations about the truth and lies regarding the life of the heroin Harry Potter. I think the final two movie will be a hit and surely will keep all the audience hooked up for the last part of the movie which would be showed maybe next year of late this year.

i think the answer is rather simple. they can shortened the other book but not the last book because if they do it for the last book, people will understand nothing. plus, the last book is full of action. it is a shame if they just skip all that 'heart-beating' scene.

I was against it at first, but I hate it when they leave parts out. If they split it into two parts they should have no reason to leave anything out. I really disliked the changes they made to the third movie and really hope they dont leave anything out. If they make 2 movies and still leave things out, I'll be mad. The books are perfect as they are, So many people love them. I realize that they dont want the movies to be 3 hours, but it could be, people will still see it. Like Titanic and lord of the rings and now Avatar, the length will not stop fans from seeing it. If you ask me the longer the better.

I agree!! There are whole sections that are in the books that were cut out of the movies, like Hermoine and the House Elf thing...that was a huge part of one of the books but theres no mention of it in any of the movies. I quit reading the books b/c it was so confusing. I would have preferred, like you said, if they had split it into 2 discs or two movies so that they could cover more. The last book is really great. If they are going to split it up into two then that is fine so that emphasis will be given to the most crucial facts that would contirbute greatly in the development of the final chapter of the series. I just hope that they will not left out so many things this time so they could really portray the real color of magic that J.K. Rowling has created for Harry and his friends.

I agree with your thought as to why, in the first place, did they not split the previous HP movies in 2 and now they're doing it. In my own honest opinion, they never split the previous HP movie because of a limit in a film production budget. I'm not saying that the Hp movies don't have enough budget but there's a limit as to how much they should spend in order to have the profit coming in the movie release. They've never thought that HP would be such a hit and for the last time they have this idea to split the movie so that ticket sales would also double for only one HP title..

I've heard about this while I'm surfing over the internet. There's an upcoming movies of Harry Potter that will be shown this November, the title is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1". So it seems that this would all been waiting for again. Harry Potter is very interesting and pretty amazing stories, and it's like unstoppable!
