What was your very first thought of the day?

I woke to a bright and sunny day and the birds were happily chirping while eating at the birdfeeder that I just put in place last week. My very first thought was they finally found it while thinking of all the little birds that would be enjoying my lovely new solar powered bird feeder! I put it in place last Thursday and don't think they found it til today! I was very happy that they did as it is one of my favorite ways to wake up. Happy Chirping birds starts my day off a bit happier! It has a solar feature that allows me to add water to it so that the birds have an all in one buffet! Food on one side and water on the other. The solar power keeps the water from freezing so the birds can benefit anytime! So what was you very first thought when you woke today? Happy it was Monday or wishing it wasn't?

Hiiii.. I woke up before 2 hours and the first thought was about the new office that I joined yesterday... That cab would be coming at around 11.30 am and I'd be leaving for my office... :) Happy myLotting!

Well yes,... It means new job! For me it is my new office... LOL... Yes, I really like use the company cabs than to travel by public transport or my own vehicle... It takes an hour to reach, meanwhile I can rest or take nap, if necessary... ;)... Happy myLotting!

New office means new job? In that case, best wishes as you settle in. And how nice to take a cab rather than battle the traffic yourself. Hope all went well! Take care.

Ah..how well I know that feeling. I am not an am person so it's always abit of a shock when the alarm goes off. I tried waking to music or the tv but it didn't work out very well. They just became part of my dreams! Good for you to be going to university! Be Well!

Hi, Tallygirl09. I woke up wishing it was not Monday at all. I had to figure out if my husband was well enough to take our son to school this morning. I was also worried about him being sick too. I worried that about the rent not being paid on time. I am thankful to wake up to this day, but I am not grateful that this day is here. I have been feeling stressed out all day long.

Wow, sound slike you woke and your brain started to race with lots of thoughts! Sorry to hear that hubby isn't feeling well. The flu has been hitting folks around here very hard the last few weeks. One day at a time is what I live by, it's the only way that I know to keep things going! Take care!

My first thought of today was i hope it is going to be a good day as it is my birthday.I thought of all the things that i wanted todo rather than all the things that had to be done.I tried to make alot of time for me aswell as everyone else who came round to see me.Now that every one has gone home aswell as the children gone to bed i am having a quick go on the internet as tonight i am going to bed early.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 1 day late..sigh!!!! Hope you had a lovely day. I usually think of my birthday as a day when things will go well and surprisingly they usually do! My favorite time of day to be on the pc is when everything around me is quiet and peaceful too. Be well and here's to a delightful new year for you!

LOL,, me too usually! Tho the birds started my day off quite nicely, I'd have been very content to turn over and get some more sleep. I'm not a morning person by nature which is one reason I put the bird feeder in so that they would help wake me up in a better mood. Which they did again today! Take care.

Waking up to the birds chirping is such a happy feeling. It gives a sense of serenity. If you live in the big city you could hardly hear that when you wake up and all you ever think about when you get up in the morning is "am I late for work?" My first thought of the day was " ahh I'm going to work again".

LOL...I live in the suburbs and work from home. Sounds great on the surface BUT I am never done with work and feel guilty sometimes that I am not working. I lived in Boston for many years and loved it but much nicer to wake to tweeting than sirens and car horns!

I must admit you've done a really good deed for the birds. It's hard for animals and birds to get something to eat in winter. Here, in our country, the snow layer so thick that wild animals can barely dig something eatable from under it. Anyway, back to the question. I also had a nice sunny morning today. I can't remember the last time, when I had such a wonderful weather in the morning, because it has always been snowing here or just very cloudy and windy. My first thought when I opened my eyes was:"Damn, it's a hell of a nice morning today!" and then my mind added: "Damn, it's too bad I have to go to school!"

My first thought of the day was about the fact that I had a limited amount of time to get a certain amount of work done. It greatly worried me, because I don't like to procrastinate, but sometimes it has to occur due to other conflicts. I get worried, because I am a slow worker in general, so I couldn't get it off my mind. It was in my mind when I went to bed last night, when I went to the shower in the morning, and right until I finished all the work. Have a good week MyLoting!

My first thought of each day (Week Days) is "ohhhh another routine days starts".... but during weekends, on Sat - " 2 more days to start routine work", on Sunday - "1 day to go to start routine work"... I don't like this kind of routine work... i hope i'm not suitable for this daily job.... but bad luck I don't have any other way to satisy my financial constarints... :(

My first thought was "Oh, it's school today." I absolutely hate school! Yeah, I know education is important and all, I just wish we could do it another way instead of waking up at 6:55 and leaving at 7:55.

My very first thought today was...What am I going to do all day! I'm unemployed since Thursday! Friday I got caught up on a lot of needed things, not around the house. I tried to catch up on that over the weekend but got caught up in my husband instead! He's the greatest! Today I wanted to look for jobs, I did, not much out there. Then I stumbled on this website and love it so far! I need to do some picking up around the house but am too stuck on this site to leave the computer! I guess I'll regret it when the electric bill comes! LOL!

LOL. Good luck with the job search! I have found that if I put in a few hours a day that worked. When I tried to fill up my whole day with the search, it made me abit crazy so try to pace yourself! And who know depending on when the electric bill is due, my lotting might help! Take care and Welcome!

The first thought that dawned on me when I woke up is how am I gonna end this day with a smile.I'm now pretty tired and bored with my work and I'm now having a hard time going into that office. Obviously, I am not happy with my job anymore. But still I have decided to come to the office and in two hours time I will be off from work. The idea of going home early really makes feel good. I'm just hoping that nothing unexpected would come up so I could go home early and smiling.

Unfortunately my first thought in the morning was not an optimistic one. It was something about my eyes hurting, being too early to wake up and too cold to be outside the bed . It`s the bad point about having to wake up too early.

It was a beautiful sunny when I woke up too but I sighed because I knew it was another day for me to get up and go to work. Sometimes I really wanna sleep one hour more but its not possible because I have to wake up early because I have to go to my work place. I love my job as a teacher but waking up the morning seems really hard for me. So when I think about waking up, the first thing in my mind is never be late because my students are gonna wait for me. I am not a morning person so I really dont like waking up early. Actually, I need to motivate myself of the things that I need to do during the day so I would have a positive thing in my mind and look forward to something and make me excited about it.

My first thought at the moment I woke up today was what was going to happen on my job interview. Is it going to be alright or I'm going to blow it?
