sphynx cat

I want to get a sphynx cat for free or pretty close to free. They are so expensive. I live in usa, and i was wondering if there was anyone that was giving one away or some place that had them for free or close to free.

That breed of cat is quite rare, and I highly doubt you will find one. And, if you do the only way it would be "free" is if it was a stray you catch and trap yourself. Breeders love to make money and rare breeds are usually worth a rarity. But, if you really want to try your luck. try searching awol pet.com or petfinder.com

There are GOOD reasons that the cats are so expensive. Check this discussion: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1814327.aspx?p=1#1_10173591 I very much doubt you will be able to find a sphynx cat any where near free for a LONG, LONG time.
