Have you worn a sandal or a shoe that made you embarassed in public?

I have worn a sandal that I thought is durable,but is too vulnerable to the user,if you passes a moist area especially with water or oil in the flooring.I am embarassed because I feel down to the floor for several times in that particular day,that I earn some bruises to the impact of the floor,which of course can be seen by many people before me. What a shame in my part, that I felt guilty in public.
