Astrologers understand Astronomy?

Astrolgers claim that they understand Astronomy better.They predict our future ,based on the positions of different planets and thier effects on us.Do the astrologers really understand astronomy? Are their calculations scientific?

Astrology and Astronomy are two different things. Sure, they both use the stars, but that's about the only thing they share.
Astrology have their calculations, and Astronomy have their calculations, the only way an astrologist can understand Astronomy better than some astronoms- is if he studied more Astronomy than they did.

I am an astrologer but know nothing about astronomy whatsoever..and really have no interest in learning...BUT I also dont feel I need to in order to do what I do and have never needed the knowledge of astronomy to do what I do...
