Bot clickers in PTC : are they members or a feature on the admin panel ?

"Great auto clicker ! Save your time ! $2 only ! add to cart." There is a lot of similar offers online, and the halls of shame of many Pay To Read sites are here to prove that some users were tempted by these bots. If the bots are forbidden by the terms in PTCs, I never saw a hall of shame in one of them. A few members renting referrals are convinced that some of their rented referrals are bot clickers. Is it true ? PTCs are paying their members with money coming from advertisers. They earn also when they sell upgrades and rent referrals. If some clickers are bots, who are they ? Members who are stealing the PTC, or an add-on on the admin panel and a major source of income for the site ? What is your opinion ?
