Making It Yourself

I love pasta, it's just so versatile and cheap to buy. I have never dared to try and make my own home made pasta, it just looks far too complicated for me. Have any of you tried to make your own fresh pasta at home or do you just stick to the dried version like me?

Made my own pasta a few weeks ago. Loved it and its really easy to make. I couldnt believe how easy it is!!
I guess the most complicated part for me was to hang it to dry!
I also made gnocci with potatoes, mmm it was delicious, nothing like the store bought kind.
Find an easy recipe and try it, im sure you're going to love it and you'll never go back to the store bought kind.
Im wanting to get a pasta machine now so it'll be easier and faster.

It does look so complicated and time consuming. I have ot admit that I am very impressed. Something I have never tried is gnocci.

My dad has made his own pasta before, but I believe that the machine he used to help with the shape and whatnot either broke or was sold in a garage sale. Either way, he hasn't made it in a long time.
I tend to just use the stuff from the box. It's cheap and easy to make, which is perfect for me, since I'm in college :)
