Hi MyLotters, Farting in public is no more a new phenomenon.Though it bothers everybody except the blower. What do you do?Do you blow or resist? And again do you make a sound or try to kill it?I myself has faced situation like this where I failed to stop. And don't talk about the air pollution when some other releases a blow!!Share with me about the situation!! Thanks Happy MyLotting!!

thats actually funny, i had that experience many times and i always wish that it will not create any sounds LOL. funny part was when i was in meeting and we are busy discussing things and so i cant really help but to release it but looks like every one just ignore it and so i also ignore it like nothing happened.

I try to resist if it is possible, especially if it is a formal event. If it is casual or I am with my friends I will let it go, and we all joke about it since everyone farts every once in a while. I hate when it makes a loud noise, because it's embarrassing, but hey I guess everyone has to live with it!

haha! i think this post is very interesting. well, if im in a public place, if there's really a lot of people, i wont bother to fart. i mean, i have to release the tension before it leads to something. but if im in a public yet quiet place, then of course that has to be resisted. i think that needs to be released in the washroom.

If I can vacate the area before letting loose I make the effort. There have been times though the sneaky ones come along. It is much worse if it is noisy. Thank goodness it does not happen often. And of course when it does, I try to pass the blame on to someone else. To do this effectively, it is best not to leave. No, leaving only makes one look suspicious. Stay a few moments and when it begins to make a stench, sniff the air trying to look inconspicuous. Look around at who is nearby. Shake your head as though you are disgusted, but again try not to overact to embarrass the other person you are placing blame on. Then leave. You have successfully made someone else the culprit and cleared your good name. Happy Mylotting!

Hi careasl, Welcome to MyLot.Yes,it's very difficult to resist the blow as they may lead to a rush to washroom sometimes later. Thanks for commenting Happy MyLotting!!
