speaking of doctors handwriting, actually theres a joke with that by my brother coz his a nurse. their professor used to tell them a joke that the reason why the doctor write like that way coz they actually dont know the correct spelling of the medicine or sometimes they forgot because of so medicine they have in mind. if you can see, if the spelling of medicine is very long and sometimes complicated and not sure with the spelling they will just write like a line in it and they give emphasis to the first and last words so the pharmacist can get what the doctor trying to say.

You are right. Unless it's an important document or the receipt, I would throw anything that is not of importance whenever I see the doctor's handwriting, I ain't get no clue, LOL. It is messy but at the same time, I think doctors whom have genius minds are like that perhaps? Who knows, LOL...

Hi vimaal, you're absolutely right about a Doctor's handwriting, it's very difficult to make out what they have written, but it's also nice to know that pharmacist can read it comfortably. I don't know how they can decipher it, but i think it takes some time and practice to read them, ha,ha. Thank you.

Hi, vimaal! Same condition as you. I just recovered from a fever too. But I didn't went to visit the doctor this time round though. Hope you are recovering well. I tried to read the doctor's handwriting before but I couldn't make sense of what they wrote. When I was younger, I often need to visit the doctor. And as always, I will see him/her busy writing down my medical condition on papers which none of them make senses to me other than my name scribed on the top section. So no, I can't read the doctor's handwriting and thankfully, now that most doctors decided to use computer to document.

I have a doctor who's handwriting is beyond messy. You have to go to a university course just to decipher it. Honestly though, my doctor has what I think is the worst handwriting in the English speaking and writing world. I don't know how the medicine counter does it, but I am amazed at their skill in decoding the handwriting of a doctor.
