i think dreams really do have meaning

I never thought dreams are true. Until there was repeated instances that I dream of one animal that keeps appearing before a treachery or deceit is going to happen. It started when I was 19 years old. I dreamed of a snake and then after a few days ..I was so broken hearted because my boyfriend cheated on me. It was all lies and so painful, I will never forget it. The snakes shows up in my dreams and then something treacherous and deceitful happens to me. Until then, I was so worried everytime I wake up and remembers I dreamed about a snake. I hate it though it makes me paranoid and cannot calm down or relax... It's a warning sign but It is also a bad news for me/ How about you do you believe in things like this?

Dreams are the way that our subconscious reach or conscious. That doesn't happen in a direct way, so dreams are made from symbols. And of course they have meaning - our subconscious talk to us using them and telling us things we don't want to face with when we are awake.

I don't believe they can. Probably we are more inclined to do or not to do something when our subconscious tells that in the dream. But that's not a prediction.

thank you,... but I was hoping I'll never dream of it anymore.. I just feel so worried and Id rather be living normally than be warned that someone is going to fool me or put me down or hurt me... It's not comfortable...

I honestly believe that too. Dreams do have meaning and interpretation. 
For me it also serves as a guide in our daily life. It could also be warning/sing on the present events in our lives.

Hello,
There has been a discussion on similar topic http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2269307.aspx There I made some contribution on the things that are responsible for those dreams. Yes, subconscious mind, which stays apparently inert and dominated by our conscious mind when we are awake, often comes out in form of a dream. When you are asleep your conscious mind rests and subconscious part gets dominant. All that you see are just the residues of those things kept in subconscious mind.

Don't worry, Everything will be OK. Dream is only a dream. Don't often linked the dream with your reality that take place in your life. But sometimes dream will be partly reflected a state of reality, but i think it's not a prediction. :-) It's my opinion. God bless you.

yes my friend.... I'd pass that because my girl friend hertz me so much... when i was in my work i see him in the road and that time that is my lunch time.. i see a boy on his back and..... I'll go with them and i see them kissing so sweet... i smack the boy ..........

My take on dreams are that if I have a good dream, I like to share it with others and would tell my love ones. But if I have a bad dream, I tend to keep quiet about it. I wouldn't want it to happen so I won't talk about it. Bad dreams give me bad vibes and I dislike the feeling much, so I tend to shed it away and not thinking about it much..

Dreams, I think are just our brain sorting out information. Our brain is a powerful thing, so I believe that it can really sense what others are feeling by body language, even though we don't know concisely. When we dream, I think that memory just happens to be sorted and therefore, appears in our dream.

I have random dreams myself. I try to understand what they mean but rather figuratively than literally. I use to play chess a lot no wonder I often dream about chess. Although its only a dream I notice that the bishops go diagonally and the knights jump L-shape which further indicate that my subconscious is righteous on what it is trying to tell me. The people in my dreams also talk, have their own behavior. I can't wait to see my next dream

I think most of people will have dream and some content of dream are well remembered clearly.It implies something u want not face to,or what u r worried about,even something u r looking forward to occur!however it is not concerned with the things which has not happened!
