hi. its ironical that there were few honest national leaders (all countries) who did the best they can for the betterment of country or for its pride ,went to prison many a times. and they never regreted that. but if you see today's political scenario, you'll find that there are so many corrupt leaders who are destroyig their own country. country's safety, progress, development ,all are in the wrong hands. don't you think there should be strict law for such corrupt politicians. in today's time, i don't see any politician getting jail term or gettng punished for their misdeeds.when will these leaders will be behind bars..i really want to see this happening. what you think should be done for this?

The sad truth is that while some of the corrupt politicians get caught, a lot of them will go on undetected. In fact, the only one's that are really getting caught, are the absolute careless ones. You know these people slip up a lot of the time and thus are unable to keep with the corruption game without being caught. So even if a few get caught, their will be many still out there. Do I wish to see all corruption being eliminated with politicians? Of course I do. Do I see it happening any time soon? Unfortunately, this is just one of those things that do not appear to work itself up any time soon. Then, we have another problem, as other politicians who might be honest learn by example and thus become corrupt. It is a vicious cycle.

i agree that corrupt politicians should be put behind bars for what they are doing and have done for their countries. they only enrich themselves impervious and detached from the misery and poverty of the rest of the population. they forget that they are in the position to serve the public and not themselves and their families. laws should be enforced to anyone who commits a crime, politicians should not be exempted from this rule.
